ALVIN TAN is a Singaporean artist, designer and creative director. He is the co-founder of art and design collective PHUNK, and constantly challenges the conventional notion of the artist and designer by crossing creative boundaries between art and commerce. Alvin is a recipient of the President’s Design Award.
In 2022, Alvin revealed his milestone project with the Singapore Tourism Board, a monumental public art sculpture, HERE IS SG which represents Singapore located right at the Marina Bay waterfront.
